This unadorned black cloak was worn by the champion Oris, who delved deep in the bowels of the earth to stalk enemies from the Far Realm. The mantle is said to be woven from strands of reality itself and infused with the eyestalk blood of a greater beholder. Legend holds that it was created for Oris by a mysterious benefactor of the Empire. When worn, the cloak provides significant protection to attacks on the mind.
